My name is Jessica and I am the practitioner and owner of Hawk Rock Holistic Wellness. Born and raised in Duncannon, PA, I am excited to bring all that I have learned about acupuncture, bodywork, and holistic medicine to my hometown. Until moving back to Pennsylvania in Feburary 2022, I had been studying and working in the Boston, MA area in both private practice and community clinics since 2014. I deeply believe that all communities need access to quality healthcare, including holistic options. I am passionate about educating and empowering people in the various ways of improving their quality of life and getting to the root cause of why someone does not feel well. My goal is to bring more ease to existence and to help people feel better in their body and mind so that they can live their best embodied life and suffer less. I'm here when you're ready and will meet you where you are on your wellness quest.
About Jessica
Jessica is a board-certified licensed acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist, and massage therapist in the state of Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina. She graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture where she studied herbal medicine, Chinese and Japanese acupuncture styles, and orthopedic acupuncture. She is licensed by the state board of medicine and is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She has a BSc in Kinesiology and Applied Physiology from the University of Delaware and completed the massage therapy program at the York Technical Institute.
Jessica is drawn to deep healing, the mind-body connection, and understanding how the physical/structural body moves and functions in time and space. She takes a holistic and thoughtful integrative approach to health and understands that we are each unique and complex beings. She strives to cultivate love and compassion in all aspects of her work and life and to provide heart-centered care for all people.
